The Myth Of The Right One

The world creates this “the One” exaggerations. Movies, musicals, celebrities all promote this myth. Everyone seems to have found “The One,” and it only took a second but are they real? Or is there something wrong with us? When we meet our soulmate, will we just know?

Hold up everyone. You all should know the truth, "the One” does not and has never existed unless you're thinking God (then my friend, you're right).

Don’t give up just yet, “The One” may not exist, but love does! If you can find that person who will stick by you no matter what! believe me you have found " the one". Leave that love story that evokes some uncontrollable emotion that takes over and you spend the rest of your life singing to Disney. The most important thing to keep in mind is that Love does exists. And it isn't just  mere feelings, it is a conscious choice.

Whenever you do make the choice to love and marry someone, they become “The One.” Every day, no matter what, you will have to make the choice to love and honor that person. And every day, love will grow as it becomes less about the fairytale and more about your love journey together.

Stop focusing on finding “The One” and start focusing on being the best You, you are made to be. Don't ever settle out of of fear of missising out but make sure that any life long decision is in fact the right one. Don't ever allow pressure from you significant other, family, friends and society to make you fall for this lie because the repercussions is usually bitter (ask all the divorced or embittered couples who thought they meet "the one" only to be disappointed).

I normally don't write on this type of topics but after years of pressure and almost making the wrong decisions, I finally took control of my love life from everyone else and I haven't regretted it since. Do have an amazing week and Happy New Month to you all.

Suit And Tie

If you remember correctly, I showed you all My Big Reveal. So today you would be seeing it in an outfit. I woke up with Angelina Jolie's outfit to BAFTA award on my mind so I decided to replicate it while adding my own touch to the ensemble.

Yeah, I tried it out with a white lace top. Different but me right?

My ultimate goal was to take the look and make it as ladylike as possible without ruining the effect of the suit and tie. I loved the outcome and received lots of complements on it.
I also decide to play with grey, black and blue as my basics.
What are your thoughts. Do you think my way of replication is cool or I should just stick to basic white shirt?

SLIVER AND GOLD, I GOT BOTH

Am so sorry dearies for being unavailable for soo long, had to travel impromptu. Even after I got back, I was swamped with work but the good news is that I got to see my mum during her birthday which was totally amazing.

Anyway, today's outfit is from last week (can't really remember the day I wore it). If you have been following me on Instagram you would have seen this look on there.

Alright on my outfit, I wore an all black outfit to work and even though it felt blah to me, my boss was of the opinion that I looked like I was going for a party. As yours truly heard that, I took a snapshot of the outfit. It is not everyday my boss acknowledges my look lol.

The skirt is an old skirt my mum got me in my first year at school but I hardly wore it. Going home this past few weeks I decided to bring with me some of my old clothes and I love the mix of old and kind of new.
Would you rock suck a look to work?, would love to hear your thoughts.

TURBAN DAY

My first attempt at incorporating a turban without wearing a trad went amazing well. I have been tying turbans and scarves a lot lately (and no it isn't religious more like my culture) but never tried it with a top and pants. So today, I decided to break that norm and use a turban with whatever I choose to wear. Hence, this outfit. What are your thoughts?.
