My look for Easter Sunday, I wore the look to church and had fun with it. Am always afraid of wearing an all white look but today it just felt right. I added a nude bag and jacket and felt good with the over all look. Hope you had fun this Easter.
Good morning and happy weekend to you all, hope you get to relax this weekend. And if your week was as stressful as mine, relaxation will be a welcomed pace. Unfortunately, this weekend isn't really relaxing for me but it is sure going to be fun. Am officially hosting my very first bridal shower (yippee) at my crib and I couldn't be happier.
For my look, it is also an oldie but newbie as per my recent trend (since it has been a really long time since I wore the dress). This dress has been featured on this blog before but in a less formal look.
As for my weight loss journey, it continues and by next week I will be unveiling my new weight (I haven't checked it yet and am so anxious to know how far I have gotten) . Hoping to have reached at least 145lbs by then (fingers crossed). Going forward, I will try to incorporate my exercise routine and diet here for anyone who wishes to join me on this remarkable journey.
Have an amazing weekend and remain blessed.
P.S. your commen…
Happy Weekend to you all, today I will be serving you with this my old but new lace number that I wore to work today. The look made me feel confident, comfortable and sexy (😜).
Styling it was easy, I went minimal with my jewerly and added a bit of edgy but trusty drama with my ankle boots.
This Friday was one of the most amazing in a long time and I couldn't be happier. People in my life are increasingly telling me how confident and hot I look and I for one am owning the look. For now I am going to hold off weighing myself till the end of March but I assure you my numbers would be here on this blog when I eventually hit the scale.
Funny enough, I have never had this outfit on my blog before therefore it is something new here but definitely an oldie in my wardrobe. Can't wait to revisit more outfit from the past.
Have fun this weekend and don't do what I wouldn't do (not sure what that is exactly). Stay happy, positive, fulfilled and you. Cheers 👍
For some time now I have being revisiting the old clothes I wore in my Skinner days to see if I could fit in it since noticing considerable difference in my size and amazingly, I have being enjoying the bliss of going back to my old clothes. A lot of the clothes has been perfect on me and I couldn't be happier with my weight loss journey. Some of my friends that I haven't seen are convinced that the photos are old but the amazing thing is that I took those pictures today.
I still have a long way to go to actually get to my pre-weight gain days but everyday as I work towards taking back my health and weight, I thank God for his strength and help throughout this journey. I also want to encourage everyone out there that it is possible to beat weight gain associated with thyroid. With perseverance and perisitence coupled with the right diet and exercise routine, you will get there. Have a lovely week.
The world creates this “the One” exaggerations. Movies, musicals, celebrities all promote this myth. Everyone seems to have found “The One,” and it only took a second but are they real? Or is there something wrong with us? When we meet our soulmate, will we just know?
Hold up everyone. You all should know the truth, "the One” does not and has never existed unless you're thinking God (then my friend, you're right).
Don’t give up just yet, “The One” may not exist, but love does! If you can find that person who will stick by you no matter what! believe me you have found " the one". Leave that love story that evokes some uncontrollable emotion that takes over and you spend the rest of your life singing to Disney. The most important thing to keep in mind is that Love does exists. And it isn't just mere feelings, it is a conscious choice.
Whenever you do make the choice to love and marry someone, they become “The One.” Every day, no matter what, you will have to…
Happy weekend everyone, hope you all are having fun. So this year, my commitment to my weight loss journey has been paying off and what better way to flaunt it that here. So am bringing to you my slimmer look for today's post.
Am currently 149lbs from 164lbs and my goal is to get to 137lbs before the end of the first half of this year. It hasn't been an easy journey too with many neigh sayers discouragingly telling me it is impossible to go back to how I looked pre my diagnosis. But this is my year of proving all my haters and discouragers wrong. Am doing it and am going to get there.
So to all of you who have been told you can never achieve this or that, you aren't capable of doing this or that; am telling you today to stand with me and kick ass (mostly those of your haters). You can do it, it may not be easy, it may take a while but I assure you with persistence and perseverance you will get there.
To all of you out there, am wishing you a happy weekend filled with lo…
I totally adore and respect your sense of self and ambition. You are one of the most ambitious and dare I say persistent persons I have ever met. I look up to you as a statue of feminism and strength, therefore it came as a shock to me when you threw all that away like it wasn't worth a thing.
Let me step back for a minute there and bring to light what I am on about. I am one of those who believe in getting to know people before passing judgement on them and I never take people's word as a basis to judge someone's character neither do I judge a person's character based on his/her gender. I have applied this attitude to my life everyday and this one was one of the things that brought us together. I have always stood for looking for the good in people, giving people a chance and never judging someone especially not based on the generalization theory the different genders tend to use against themselves.
As a smart lady that I believe you are, it came as a sh…
