GREY DAY

Wearing grey is something I do so often that it always my go to when I have no other thing in mind and I have worn black for so long. But this Tuesday morning was different, I wore this outfit based on my mood. I woke up to a lot of rain (it's being raining non-stop for almost a week), then missed my ride to work and finally got to work 2 hours late. I had a totally different outfit in mind that morning but with the total disaster my day was turning into, I turned to my trusted outfit to express my anger.

The good thing was that the day ended amazingly on a good note but then fast forward to the next day and my country played with Argentina in the ongoing World Cup at lost with a 3-2 margin. Mind you most of their goals were free kicks by Messi (how is that fair). I was so distraught that I decided on posting the perfect outfit for a really gray day. The dress expresses my feelings just fine.

Anyway, the good thing is that we are still in the competition. At least that is something to be happy about. Now we just have to strive to stay in the competition (fingers crossed on this one). The match has been unexpected and entertaining none-the-less. I will still keep cheering my country.

Suit And Tie

If you remember correctly, I showed you all My Big Reveal. So today you would be seeing it in an outfit. I woke up with Angelina Jolie's outfit to BAFTA award on my mind so I decided to replicate it while adding my own touch to the ensemble.

Yeah, I tried it out with a white lace top. Different but me right?

My ultimate goal was to take the look and make it as ladylike as possible without ruining the effect of the suit and tie. I loved the outcome and received lots of complements on it.
I also decide to play with grey, black and blue as my basics.
What are your thoughts. Do you think my way of replication is cool or I should just stick to basic white shirt?

SLIVER AND GOLD, I GOT BOTH

Am so sorry dearies for being unavailable for soo long, had to travel impromptu. Even after I got back, I was swamped with work but the good news is that I got to see my mum during her birthday which was totally amazing.

Anyway, today's outfit is from last week (can't really remember the day I wore it). If you have been following me on Instagram you would have seen this look on there.

Alright on my outfit, I wore an all black outfit to work and even though it felt blah to me, my boss was of the opinion that I looked like I was going for a party. As yours truly heard that, I took a snapshot of the outfit. It is not everyday my boss acknowledges my look lol.

The skirt is an old skirt my mum got me in my first year at school but I hardly wore it. Going home this past few weeks I decided to bring with me some of my old clothes and I love the mix of old and kind of new.
Would you rock suck a look to work?, would love to hear your thoughts.

TURBAN DAY

My first attempt at incorporating a turban without wearing a trad went amazing well. I have been tying turbans and scarves a lot lately (and no it isn't religious more like my culture) but never tried it with a top and pants. So today, I decided to break that norm and use a turban with whatever I choose to wear. Hence, this outfit. What are your thoughts?.
