BABY NAMING

Am so sorry that I have been unavailable for a while now, work has really been hectic and with other obligations I have been unable to blog. Although, I am not fully back as work is still overboard at the moment, I would try as much as possible to be available at least once a week.

Opening my blog after a very long absence, I would be sharing my outfit for a friend's baby naming. It wasn't over the top as it had to be really kid friendly without looking maternal and I wanted to play with black and white color palette and this was the result.

I always love me a good black and white picture and I loved the output on this one.
The lightweight sweater was also necessary as it has been raining non stop for a while now and the weather tend to be really cool.

TURBAN DAY

My first attempt at incorporating a turban without wearing a trad went amazing well. I have been tying turbans and scarves a lot lately (and no it isn't religious more like my culture) but never tried it with a top and pants. So today, I decided to break that norm and use a turban with whatever I choose to wear. Hence, this outfit. What are your thoughts?.

Wardrobe Staples For Every Working Lady

Hello dearies, today I would be writing about investing in timeless pieces that are work appropriate while remaining budget friendly and I basically live my life around this pieces.
A Basic Blazer: When I say basic blazer please refrain from picking up that ugly and pain inducing blazer that is on your mind, thank you. Now a basic black blazer should have a perfect fit, inviting look and skin friendly material while still remaining affordable. Is this possible, yes it is. You just have to know where to shop (lol). I found a few Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here.

A Statement Jacket: I love a statement jacket especially those morning when you are half awake and can't be bothered to put together an outfit (yes I am one of those people who wait till the last minute to pick out my look for the day), all you need is that jacket that can pull together any piece you throw on together like these Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here

Perfectly Tailored Pant: This can't be overst…

Dark Matters

I technically stole the Post Header from the series Dark Matter which I have been into recently (If you haven't seen any episode, you are missing a lot trust me on that) and since my dress code was basically on the dark color spectrum, I can possible say the series spoke to me as my mode was far from dark (and also I might have been running late hence this lol).  I have also noticed that most of my recent outfit had been revolving around black and white color spectrum (which is totally unconscious BTW), so for this look I tried to branch out a bit but couldn't. So I am making a promise here that my next outfit post would be rid of any black or white color and would be a cool play on color combination.  Till then, I leave you guys with my Thursday work look. A little update on my leg injury, the doctor said I would soon be able to start rocking my heels again. Hopefully my next post would also showcase the newest addition to my shoe collection. TGIF people, have a wonderful we…
