Hello Tuesday

Morning all, My post is coming a little late today due to hectic work schedule that has been on for the past few days plus I have not been feeling too good myself. But all that aside, I am one step closer to knowing who I am, what I want and how I want to spend my life.

Being one who never does things the conventional way and always striving to stand out among the crowd, my take on wearing button up shirts to work is to really button up (not half way or almost there). I am one of those ladies who would wear a tie with her outfit or a scarf to keep things different.

When I started blogging which is not too long ago, I had thought and over thought the blog thing for almost 2 years. I didn't want to be just like everyone else but something struck me, we (bloggers) all love sharing our lives in one way or the other with everyone else without necessary being a pain. After much thought, I decided to take the nose dive into blogging and I am yet to regret it (hope I never do).

My take on button up shirt to work is make it your own and not what every other person does or think should be done.

TURBAN DAY

My first attempt at incorporating a turban without wearing a trad went amazing well. I have been tying turbans and scarves a lot lately (and no it isn't religious more like my culture) but never tried it with a top and pants. So today, I decided to break that norm and use a turban with whatever I choose to wear. Hence, this outfit. What are your thoughts?.

Wardrobe Staples For Every Working Lady

Hello dearies, today I would be writing about investing in timeless pieces that are work appropriate while remaining budget friendly and I basically live my life around this pieces.
A Basic Blazer: When I say basic blazer please refrain from picking up that ugly and pain inducing blazer that is on your mind, thank you. Now a basic black blazer should have a perfect fit, inviting look and skin friendly material while still remaining affordable. Is this possible, yes it is. You just have to know where to shop (lol). I found a few Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here.

A Statement Jacket: I love a statement jacket especially those morning when you are half awake and can't be bothered to put together an outfit (yes I am one of those people who wait till the last minute to pick out my look for the day), all you need is that jacket that can pull together any piece you throw on together like these Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here
