Breast Cancer Awareness

Dear Readers, You are all aware that this month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this is a serious and very worthy cause that affects millions of women worldwide. Dealdey together with Sebeccly Cancer Care ( have come to raise awareness, educate, support and raise funds for women and the families battling with breast cancer in Nigeria.

They will be holding an open house at Dealdey new outlet at Ikeja through out the month of October, where they will be selling quality Bras with a huge discount. It is at a reduced cost and part of the proceeds are going to women with breast cancer who need urgent assistance. There will be a doctor at hand to do free breast examination and most importantly teach women how to do self examination as a method of early prevention and detection.

Early detection and education is key to reducing high mortality rate. Bring your mothers, daughters, wives (**smile**), sisters, aunties and friends on a lingerie's shopping spree with a difference. You can make a difference no matter how small.

Address: Akron Building, 1st Floor,
              Allen Avenue,

Suit And Tie

If you remember correctly, I showed you all My Big Reveal. So today you would be seeing it in an outfit. I woke up with Angelina Jolie's outfit to BAFTA award on my mind so I decided to replicate it while adding my own touch to the ensemble.

Yeah, I tried it out with a white lace top. Different but me right?

My ultimate goal was to take the look and make it as ladylike as possible without ruining the effect of the suit and tie. I loved the outcome and received lots of complements on it.
I also decide to play with grey, black and blue as my basics.
What are your thoughts. Do you think my way of replication is cool or I should just stick to basic white shirt?

Am so sorry dearies for being unavailable for soo long, had to travel impromptu. Even after I got back, I was swamped with work but the good news is that I got to see my mum during her birthday which was totally amazing.

Anyway, today's outfit is from last week (can't really remember the day I wore it). If you have been following me on Instagram you would have seen this look on there.

Alright on my outfit, I wore an all black outfit to work and even though it felt blah to me, my boss was of the opinion that I looked like I was going for a party. As yours truly heard that, I took a snapshot of the outfit. It is not everyday my boss acknowledges my look lol.

The skirt is an old skirt my mum got me in my first year at school but I hardly wore it. Going home this past few weeks I decided to bring with me some of my old clothes and I love the mix of old and kind of new.
Would you rock suck a look to work?, would love to hear your thoughts.

My first attempt at incorporating a turban without wearing a trad went amazing well. I have been tying turbans and scarves a lot lately (and no it isn't religious more like my culture) but never tried it with a top and pants. So today, I decided to break that norm and use a turban with whatever I choose to wear. Hence, this outfit. What are your thoughts?.
